Intro to Cave Diving - TDI

This course develops basic cave diving skills with limited penetration into the cave environment. This is the second of four levels of progression to the full cave diver certification.

Students can utilize most of their basic openwater equipment but will need two underwater reels (minimum of a safety reel w/ 140' of line), and two portable light sources. Additionally, students will need a tank with an "H" valve, a second regulator first stage, and a seven foot hose on one of their regulator second stages. This course is inherently dangerous and requires a diver with a serious devotion to scuba diving. Basic openwater skills should be second nature to the diver wanting to take this course. A diver should also have excellent buoyancy control skills.
